Our Classes

Everyone from every background is welcome in our studio.

The classes at Dandridge Community Yoga do not contain religious content.  We rely on modern language terms to lead practice.
There are often extended periods of quiet reflection during which you can choose to concentrate, pray, meditate, or space out.  At the end our yoga classes, there is a time of intense rest.  Sometimes this will include guided visualizations.

Each student is free to participate how it feels most comfortable to them. We have a variety of teachers, each from different backgrounds, that provide a unique experience. We are sure you will find a flow that fits you!

All Classes are:

$15 drop in

10 classes for $100

Cash or Check is preferred, card payment is available in the studio.

*Our CommUnity Class on Saturday is free to anyone who’d like to join!

Gentle Flow and Stretch

Wednesdays 8:00- 9:15AM

If yoga class were a mug of hot chocolate, it would be Gentle Flow + Stretch. From start to finish, this class is a warming, cozy mobilization. We luxuriously move through comfortable positions and stretches, matched to breath. This is perfect for folks who want the body-mind-breath experience of yoga, without focus on strength, balance, or cardio.

Don’t see what you want?

Please let me know how DCY can meet your yoga needs. I do anticipate adding a Vinyasa Flow Class and Bro-ga (for guys who don’t identify as grumpy and old) soon. I am also interested in hearing about WHEN yoga classes work best for you.

Comfortable, stretchy clothing. You’ll need to be barefoot or wearing yoga/pilates socks. Hair held off the face is usually more comfortable. Please try to avoid wearing a lot of scent because it can make some people sneezy or headachey. Absolutely no political messaging allowed.

We would love to!  Our class schedule is expanding.  On opening day, June 3, we offered 5 classes per week.  Our fall schedule will have 16 classes available.  Let me know what else you are looking for and WHEN best fits your schedule.  If you know a yoga teacher who wants to lead a 6AM class, please send them our way.  We’d like to give Tai Chi a go, as well.

No, sorry, we do not. We do have two single-person bathrooms where you can change.
