In Slow Flow class, the student moves through a series of yoga postures, slowly, with coordinated breath.  The relaxed pace allows for multiple variations of each pose, to best meet the needs of the individual student. There will be plenty of demonstration, alignment hints, and verbal and hands-on (with consent) adjustments. You can expect Sun Salutations and similar sequences.  Hearts rates remain fairly steady, not a lot of sweating.

Slow Flow is open to any participant over 14 years old.  The class works best for people who are comfortable moving between standing, seated, and prone without great difficulty.

You know who you are! This beginners class is for men who need and want yoga in their lives but either:

1) feel weird in a yoga class surrounded by women or

2) just want to hang out with guys.

It will focus more on flexibility, strength, and balance postures and less on the flow sequences of the slow flow class. Like all the classes, variations will be offered to meet each body’s needs.

GOM is open to men over 45 years old.
